Product Properties

Meta-aramid woven fabrics have the following main characteristics:

First, excellent flame retardancy. It can effectively prevent the spread of flames and can extinguish itself after leaving the fire source. This is because its chemical structure makes it inherently flame retardant. For example, when encountering high-temperature flames, it will not burn as quickly as ordinary fabrics.

Second, good thermal stability. It can be used for a long time in a high temperature environment, with stable dimensions, not easily deformed, and able to withstand high temperatures above 200°C.

Third, chemical corrosion resistance. It has good tolerance to most chemical substances, and is not easily corroded by common organic solvents, acids, alkalis, etc.

Fourth, good mechanical properties. It has high strength, wear resistance, good tensile properties, and can withstand a certain degree of external force pulling without being easily damaged.

In terms of use:

It is often used to make personal protective equipment such as fire suits and fireproof gloves, providing reliable safety protection for firefighters and others, and effectively resisting the harm of flames and high temperatures to the human body.
