Carbon fiber tube is a tubular structure made of carbon fiber composite material pre-impregnated with styrene-based polyester resin and then heated, cured, pultruded (wrapped). It has many excellent properties, including high strength, low density, light weight, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, dimensional stability, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, self-lubrication and energy absorption and shock resistance. The following are some application scenarios of carbon fiber tube:


1. Aerospace:

- In aircraft manufacturing, carbon fiber tubes can be used in aircraft wings, fuselage structural parts, landing gear and other parts, which can reduce the weight of the aircraft, improve fuel efficiency, increase flight mileage and load capacity, and at the same time enhance the structural strength and fatigue resistance of the aircraft and improve flight safety.

- In terms of spacecraft, it can be used for satellite structures, solar panel brackets, antennas and other components. The high stability and low expansion coefficient of carbon fiber tubes can ensure that spacecraft maintain good performance in extreme space environments.

2. Sports and leisure field:

- Golf clubs: Golf clubs made of carbon fiber tubes are light in weight, which can reduce the physical exertion of athletes, and have better elasticity and toughness, making the power and accuracy of hitting the ball higher, while the vibration is smaller, which improves the comfort of users.

- Bicycles: Bicycle frames made of carbon fiber tubes are light in weight and high in strength, with beautiful appearance and modern technology, suitable for outdoor sports, and can meet the riders' requirements for speed and controllability.

- Other sports equipment: Carbon fiber tubes are also widely used in sports equipment such as fishing rods, tennis rackets, badminton rackets, and ice hockey sticks, which not only reduce the weight of the equipment, but also improve the performance and service life of the equipment.

3. Industrial equipment field:

- Robotic arms: The robotic arms of industrial robots, medical robots, etc. can be made of carbon fiber tubes. Their light weight can make the robotic arms more flexible, with small inertia and higher working accuracy; and carbon fiber composite materials have small creep and excellent fatigue resistance, and can operate for a long time without deformation.

- Roller: In the printing, papermaking, plastics, textiles, film, lithium battery pole piece winding machine and other industries, carbon fiber tubes can be used as carbon fiber rollers for roller bodies. Compared with shaft products made of aluminum alloy materials, carbon fiber rollers can reduce inertia, speed up the start and stop of the machine, increase the speed of the roller, effectively improve production efficiency and product quality, and effectively reduce energy consumption.

- Inspection tools: Tubular carbon fiber parts are used in automobile inspection tools such as automobile inspection tool skeletons, carbon fiber prepreg coated with foam plastics, and all-carbon fiber integrated inspection tools. The precision of carbon fiber inspection tools is stable, and its deformation is much lower than that of aluminum inspection tools of the same type.

- Bracket body: Equipment such as cameras and surveying instruments require a stable and lightweight bracket body, and carbon fiber composite tubes are ideal manufacturing materials. Portable stretchers also use this type of carbon fiber tube as a stretcher body, which is easy to carry and has a large load capacity.

4. Military industry:

- Structural components of weapons and equipment such as missiles and rockets can use carbon fiber tubes, which can reduce the weight of weapons and equipment and improve their mobility and range. For example, the United States' Pegasus, Delta launch vehicles, Trident II (D5), and Midget missiles all use carbon fiber composite materials.

- Carbon fiber tubes are also used in the fuselage structure, wings, tail fins and other parts of military aircraft to improve the performance and stealth capabilities of the aircraft.

- Construction field: It can be used for the reinforcement and repair of building structures, such as reinforcing concrete beams, columns and other structural components, which can improve the bearing capacity and seismic performance of the structure.

- New energy field: In the manufacture of wind power blades, carbon fiber tubes can be used as reinforcing materials to improve the strength and rigidity of the blades, enabling them to withstand greater wind forces; in solar power generation equipment, they can be used for components such as support structures and tracking systems.
